Stuggling to make Career in Singing....

Narjang Gurung was born in the remote village of Syangja, Banethok in 2042 BS. As his parents used to sing the songs in local feasts in the village, he couldn't remain untuched from singing. When his family shifted to Waling, he got some more chances to fulfill his singing hobby. He sang many songs in different school level singing competitions. After the completion of his school level study, he came to Pokhara to forward his study as well as his singing career.

In Pokhara, he got an opportunity to sing in a Gurung Film 'Oh Nholshyo". Fortunately for the same song, he was rewarded with the "Annapurna Music Award - 2064". Like wisein the same year he was able to make his position as First Runner Up in Gandaki Tara. The year 2065, became productive for him, he got the first position

Singer: Narjang Gurung

in "Narayan Gopal Prativa Ko Khoji" in Kaski district.

Therefore, in a short period of time, he got the success but he thinks himself is in a struggling phase. He thinks to get success we must be labourous and we must have determination and discipline.

Singer: Narjang Gurung, Shyangja, Pokhara

About life his view is near Charles Dickens, he takes life as a stuggle, who can sturggle in life, they exist otherwise they exit, he opines. He has a message to the youths that they must feel their responsibility towards their family and nation. He requests them to use their time in creative activities.

Although, he has not any solo album in the market but he has sung many songs in collection albums including folk, modern & songs in Gurung language. He is in the process of his own album. In the same way, his songs in collection albumbs "Biteka Pal", Gandaki Tara Top 10", Gurung Film "AAKRODO" & Mero Praan" are releasing soon in the morket.

fisrt of all namaste to prem ngolo and thank you very much for your message regarding narjung bhai albom. secondly narjung bhai congratulation on your success on this step. i am really proud of you for seeing that you are one of the well gurung singer from our area amongs many singers like, sarmila baini, durga baini, bhumati baini, raju bhai, as i know. i am saying this its because lok geet, adhunik geet, pop geet, every can sing, but this is the way to promot our gurung bhasa, and culture. i know raju bhai also sang so many gurung songs like in gurung chalchitra "ngai nasa" durga baini sarmila baini you all are one of our gurung bhasa preserver people so please keep continewing sing such a nice gurung songs in future i wish you all the best. thats all for now hope to see you soon

I really don't know what to say about this ever smiling dude.He has the innate capability to sing all genres of melody.A man of exception! Perhaps this suits him best.Me being his intimate companion, would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and appreciate him for every possible reasons.
Every genius are exposed and ruptured late.Yes,it's all the same in his case.The potential to naturalize the melody is his strength.With various hurdles,springs and summers,he has now gradually emerged as a celebrity in home and streets,probably more.
He deserves every good words for what he has attempted to do................
