Six people were killed in the landslide
accident came at 2:30 PM on 2 July 2009 in Kaski & Tanahun
district.
The three people were killed, house of Sim Bahadur Gurung
was burried by landslide came at 2:30 PM early in the morning
due to heavy rainfall. The killed personel are Mangali Gurung(80
Years old), Soni Gurung (25 years old) & Purnima Gurung(One
& half years old). View

Similarly, three people were also killed by
the house of Krishna Bhadur Bhujel bourried with the landslide
came from about 100 m above at ward no-5, Arubari of Thaprek
VDC, Tanahun district. 40 years old of Krishna Bahadur Bhujel,
his wife of 35 years old Bhagabati & daughter of 11 years
old Sima were killed. |

Due to heavy rainfall of same night,
15 households are get displaced, situated in the bank of stream
at Ward-1, Phedi of Deurali VDC of Kaski district. |
