This is a panoramic
trek to beyond Phewa Lake in Pokhara. From Panchasse you will
see the great Himalayan peaks of Macchapuchare, Dhaulagiri,
Annapurna Rang, Lamjung and Manaslu. The terrain varies from
subtropical valleys of banana trees and rice paddies to high
ridges covered in rhododendron, Qurecuse(Kharshu) forest. 107
kinds of orchids are available. It is known as capital of Orchid.
This supports an abundant array of bird life. Along the way
you will see many ethnic mixes, such as Gurung & Brahmin.
This trek is off the beaten path and it is unlikely that you
will meet many other trekkers here, and this trek is suitable

There is a Panchasse
Lake at 2200 meters altitude from the sea level. There is no
source of water & it is being said that all the leaves that
felt into the lake will be cleaned by the birds. The Panchasse
hill's altitude is 2517 meters at height from the sea level.
There is a temple named Siddhababa in the top. Balachaturdhashi
Festival (around the end of November) is the biggest festival
in Panchasse where people from all circle come to pay their
homage to the mountain mother where first they cleanse themselves
in the sacred Panchasse Lake, make offerings, and start the
Panchasse climb up to the top during which they offer grains
and rice to the earth which symbolizes the re-fertilization
of the Earth mother. Devotees generally wear auspicious red
colored dress.Read
